We met one of our favorite storybook characters, Curious George!!! Barnes and Noble hosted a special story time with a local author and a world famous monkey.
At the beginning of the story time, Samuel was all about getting close to George. But after you pack about 40 kids and parents in a tight space it was pretty hot. I drug him in line anyway to get a picture. Step out of that comfort zone, kid.

It has been HOT, HOT, HOT, STINKIN' HOT outside. We don't really go out to play, so the other day the boys did pretty good playing and reading books together. I will confess, I've been letting Samuel watch a ton of TV lately. So much so that when we drove past Chuck-E-Cheese today, he said, "PBS Kids". That's from the commercial, "Chuck-E-Cheese is a proud sponsor of PBS Kids." Nice!
Matthew is growing so much. He likes to laugh and try to grab for things. We love him!
My friend, Ginger, made this adorable smock for Samuel's birthday. We love it and the new paint set, too. Isn't she clever?
